PlanTech Smart Factory Platform is a software development platform for building smart factory systems.
Using each module of PlanTech Smart Factory Platform, an intelligent factory software system including PCS(Process Control System, including SCADA, used for bottom-level control of hardware and electrical signal acquisition in the production process) and MES(Manufacturing Execution System, used for information control and processing in the production process) can be developed in a short time to realize the automation of the production process and the informatization of the management process at the whole factory level.
Whether it is a large brewery with an annual output of millions of hl, or the craft breweries that have become popular in recent years, we can provide an affordable automation solution.
In terms of investment, based on our experience, the investment in electrical and automation software accounts for approximately 10-20% of the total project investment, of which the automation software itself accounts for about 1-2%. The smaller the plant capacity, the higher the proportion of electrical and control software investment in the total project investment. This makes it difficult for small breweries to have sufficient budget to equip fully automated production lines.
For this reason, we have made the following efforts to enable the PlanTech Smart Brew system to reach smaller breweries as much as possible:
PLC performance requirements:We have optimized the code so that the PlanTech Smart Brew system can be use the Siemens 1511 series PLC. The procurement cost for the PLC is only about 600 USD. Compared to the other system, which requires at least the 1516 series PLC costing 3,000 USD, this saves nearly 80% of the cost. For a brewhouse line with 2 kettles and a hot water tank, or for a stand-alone unit, we can even use the 1200 series PLC, reducing the PLC purchase price to below 300 USD.

PC performance requirements:When using the SQL Server Express Edition database (free), we can use a standard PC with a minimum i5 CPU and 8 GB RAM as the server. This reduces the PC procurement cost to below 1000 USD, saving nearly 80% compared to a traditional server.
License fees:For craft breweries, we offer a lower-cost Express Edition license (with a locked number of objects).
Programming fees:Benefiting from our flat management structure and highly skilled employees, our programming fees are only half of those charged by large companies.
Based on our experience, the requirements for the brewhouse batch size when using the PlanTech Smart Brew system are as follows:
